CITY OF KAŠTELA is located on the coast of Kaštelanski Bay, between Split, Solin and Trogir, cities that are under UNESCO protection. There are over 40 000 inhabitants and is the second largest city in the Split – Dalmatia County, and extends the length of 17 km. Another distinctive feature of the town is the fact that it developed around 7 places including: Kaštel Sućurac, Kaštel Gomilica, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Novi and Kaštel Štafilić.
In Kastela is famous Marina Kastela capable to accommodate private and charter boats and this is the destination for many boaters.
Real wealth of plant species that are a feast for the eyes is located in the famous Botanical Garden in Kastel Luksic and the Biblical Garden, located next to the famous shrine Stomorija.
